Direct Tools Outlet [directtoolsoutlet.com] is having a 15% off everything sale using code "FLASH15" through Friday March 5th, in-store and online. $7 flat rate shipping.

For example, the Ridgid Flip Top Portable Work Support is $16.99 at DTO, whereas Home Depot is $32.97:

in Tools (6)
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

20% off and free shipping, or bust.
Their inventory for ship able items has been pretty bad for months now. I'd say at least half the items listed on direct tool's site are unavailable. They never used to do this in the past, if the item wasn't available it just wasn't listed. It actually made it more interesting checking the site daily, to see if there was anything new. Now it's just extremely annoying, seeing intriguing items that haven't been available since last November (Ridgid Jointer) still listed.
If it were 15% off and free shipping, it still wouldn't be the best deal Direct Tools Outlet has offered.

Wait for the next one.

I got this one last fall and while it's super easy and convenient, takes up a lot of space. In hindsight I would have not got it but if have space its a must have.

I ordered a Rypbi wet dry vac a few days ago from them without the coupon . Noticed they raised the prices the day they issued the coupon. That's sketchy.

Noticed the same for the ryobi supercharger. Was $49, now $69 :\
The old sale ended before this sale started. Nothing sketchy about that, everyone does it.

On that particular item that saw larger discounts in previous sales, yes, only 15% off sucks. But if there is something you want that rarely sees reduced pricing, this might be the cheapest way to get it unless you can wait for something better to come along, like Black Friday.

That deal was a GREAT deal for one item. This deal is a good deal on ALL items. Since the great deal ended on that single item, it is worse now.

This is pretty simple stuff.

Thats the one I got from HD when they run the black friday sale and put them at $99.99. This was 2 years ago I think. Folds up nice but the mitre saw still sticks out and it doesn't fold flat Wink I really like it. Makes it easy to move around but I still have problems opening and closing it properly. There must be some trick I am missing that I will figure out one of these days and smack myself in the head for not figuring it out sooner lol

Except that on my purchase, the item was NOT on sale. Typical price. They inflated the price about 14% and then "reduced" it 15%.

Have. Is good.

Far more handy than you'd think. I've used it a lot over over 5 years and still going strong.

was going to bite but then read the restocking fees and pay to return, im looking at an item thats normally 99 and they have it for 69 plus shipping. its a factory reconditioned , if anything is wrong it will cost me the same as a new one. how reliable is this place on reconditioned> im in jersey with no stores......
They're very reliable. They're part of the same company that makes Ryobi and Rigid tools. Anytime I've bought something reconditioned, it's been pretty much new. I can't see any difference between them and a new one (besides being marked reconditioned).

You can't convince me that slickdeals doesn't shill for DTO at one level or another; this is one of their least front page worthy "sales"" and I have followed their website for well over a year now.

Again, the problem with DTO is they're getting to the point that JCP was at (and they were successfully sued) that you never really know what the retail price of an item is. But I look forward to next weekends pre St. Patrick Day's 20% off hobbyist sale, 3-days only!!! LMAO

Reference:
https://money.cnn.com/2016/12/09/...index.html

California law prohibits retailers from advertising a price of an item unless it's actually been on the market at that price within the last three months or the date when it was being sold at that price is made clear to shoppers.

I've had some problems with a couple factory reconditioned. A Ridgid table saw where the extension wing moved even when locked, and a Ryboi drill press where the whole head unit seems bent a few degrees and the little plastic housing on back broken (could have been during shipping since they sent the thing already assembled with not much padding). That said, some of my factory reconditioned items have been fine, but I don't gamble with it anymore.

Just received a 15 off 100 coupon for home depot, that makes the new one the same price as the refurbished, less the battery. Going that route, i have plenty of batteries anyway........

I was looking to buy this exactly for that reason. I started browsing the comments to see if there was any mentions pertaining to the build quality & or sturdiness of the item. I never would've expected seeing a comment that approves its use for the exact thing I was contemplating using it for, a racesim wheelstand for my g29.

thanks for taking the time to give people a heads up!
