My OCD would be going crazy if I had this in my home.
A TV stand with a width of 60". Separate and distinct from a TV stand for a 60" TV.
If by "better" you mean "not better", I guess.

A centered wall mounted tv over this media center should cure that

Wouldn't that middle plank that's sort of hanging on the left with no support eventually start to sag?

I'd be worried about that middle shelf eventually sagging or even breaking, taking down any gaming consoles, set top boxes, etc. with it.

i would assume that there is a bracket connecting the middle piece running vertically to the top shelf.

I've gotten a few shelves and a TV stand(not this one but similar price) from Walmart. Every single one is sagging. I'm assuming due to cheap materials. It's a bit depressing because everything looks sad. Like they just reflected on their lives and decided to not try anymore. Can't comment on this specific stand though.

There is a panel in the rear middle that should support it just fine as long as you're not putting a forging anvil on it or something.

Replace the legs in particular (Amazon sells lots of affordable but nicer look legs) and its not that bad from a distance
