I came across an authorized Herman Miller dealer selling a brand-new Aeron Chair in Graphite only for $763.87 + tax. Standard Shipping is Free. It is almost fully loaded. This dealer in located in New York City and sells in the Tri-state area. Not sure if they can/will sell in other states.

This is a great price for a new version 2. Found one (version 1) secondhand at an office liquidator shop in like new condition for 550, this seems to be the going rate for secondhand aerons in the sf bay area. Ymmv I suppose. Nice find OP

I bought this chair this year mint for 399. 4 years old. Is it awesome? Yes I think. Would I pay 1200? Sure if money wasn't tight and or 1200 wasn't a big deal. If it were causing stress on the savings or paycheck definitely not.

The edges are rough as its hard scratchy plastic. Not a problem for most but sometimes uncomfortable for a big fellow...wanted to add that tidbit bc people can be too forgiving to the Herman Miller brand

Great chair! Had one for years until I discovered Steelcase leap chairs, made the switch and at least for me, was more comfortable. But the aeron is definitely one of the best chairs available for long hours sitting and working.
