Why do these have such big markdowns every other day? I have a pair of Sundara and i love it. Are these better than Sundara? Their msrp is so much more

Hoping to see a new revision of Sundara with this headband style soon. The HE-560 are a bit too harsh/grainy sounding for my tastes.

How do these compare to a Beyerdynamic MMX300(1st gen)? Looking for something a little more wieldy for use over my Rift S when not using my Quest2.
Yes, I know one is open back, the other is closed back. Besides the obvious difference there, how does the sound compare for anyone that's owned both? Thanks.
