JackRabbit has Saucony Guide 13 Men's & Women's Running Shoes (Various Colors) for $59.50 after promo code GJR13M. Shipping is free.
Thanks to Deal Hunter TattyBear for finding this deal.
  • Best For:
    • Surface: Road, Gyms, Flats
    • Category: Stability - Designed for runners who have flexible arches that over-pronate(or collapse inwardly). Stability shoes feature a posting or firmer foam underneath as a support underneath the arch to prevent the foot from over-pronating. The structure in this category is less than that of the Stability Plus shoes, but is adequate for the majority runners that over-pronate. Runners who need stability shoes tend to experience shin splints, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis if they are not wearing a stability shoe.
  • Benefits Include:
    • New PWRRUN cushioning provides just-right softness that's responsive enough to tackle as many miles as you wish.
    • The new medial TPU guidance frame quickly and quietly guides each foot through its natural gait cycle for the smoothest feel yet.
    • FORMFIT surrounds the foot with a made-for-me feel that can accommodate a wide range of foot shapes comfortably.
    • A sleek silhoutte that was redesigned from the inside out for comfort from every angle.
Good Deal?

FYI all. I bought a pair of Men's Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Running Shoes from Jack Rabbit on Feb25th from another slick deal. I've purchased 4 pairs of shoes from them in the past. I was pretty shocked this latest pair arrived worn, stained, and with a couple of long strands of hair inside the shoe. I contacted customer service and received a response asking me what I'd like to do? I thought being a prior customer I would have a replacement sent out to me ASAP and subsequently return the worn shoes. Well I've heard nothing back as a response from them as of yet.

How are these to play tennis?

It is not a good idea to play tennis wearing running shoes. Running shoes seldom have the lateral movement support that Tennis requires and could lead to ankle injuries. If you are playing tennis frequently, I would recommend looking into dedicated tennis shoes. I use Acics Gel Resolution. Tennis sites like tennis express and midwest tennis usually have some kind of sale going on.

The only shoes that even close to fit me have eben brooks dyads, but then they still have all kinds of issues... for one thing it's not long before my toes poke hjoles in them. I wish there were shoes similar to dyad, but from other brands... Have tried saucony before and about everything else.

Where does saucony stand it terms of branding when compared to Nike, Reebok, Adidas, New Balance , under Armor, Puma etc.?

I assume #1 is Nike, and #2 is Adidas. I don't know where other brands fall in the hierarchy and would much appreciate comments from everyone.

You get opinions when you ask a question like this. I walk 4 miles every day and some days I run couple of miles in that 4 miles. For me most shoes last only 6 months. I have tried different shoes. In my opinion, high-end Nike are Ok but they are usually much lower value to money. For everyday use, I use Reebok or Puma. For running I find Mizuno, Saucony and ASICS to be the top brands that give you the best value for money.

This is pronation control shoes. If you have neutral or supination gate, you won't do good with for running. It will act counter to your gate and may even cause injury.

Thanks. Is Mizuno a Japanese brand?
