I wish Sega gets into a partnership with one of these arcade companies. They could make an arcade for every board they had games on. The Model 1 and up System boards would have some great arcade classics.

This is a GREAT deal and a good value for anyone who wants the old-school arcade experience.

-My kids, 3, 5, 15 beat the crap out of it regularly and it stands up to the abuse.

-The trackball and spinners add extra fun to the overall experience.

-You can expand the system with addons like pinball buttons for virtual pinball, light guns, third party racing wheels and even a sweet LED marquee (the sign at the top of the cabinet) that cycles through different game titles.

-The software is super easy to use and you can even connect to your gaming PC on your local network and play Steam games on the cabinet. You can plug in different (modern) systems and play them with the controls, which are also Bluetooth.

-If you're tech savvy, you can add in thousands of extra games with a USB drive. (Google 'ALU Sauce')

-I've built my own custom arcade cabinets from scratch, and this is entirely worth the money. The build is solid, the cabinet graphics are very nice, the controls are decent quality and the control panel is well laid out and the software is plug and play. Sure, you can build one for $500, but the sweat equity (including figuring out your arcade front end) will cost you far more than $500 IMO.

-Yes, this was ~cheaper~ at Sam's in the past, so not even counting the membership fee for Sam's, if you're going to the past, please pick me up on the way so we can swing by 2011 and pick up some Bitcoin.

Awesome deal. With the current Arcade cabinet craze this won't get any cheaper unless it's a YMMV deal. If I had room, I would buy another because these get enough traffic at my house.
Seriously, like others have said, AMAZING review on this. Repped!

I was an early adopter and picked this up in Dec. 2019. I can't recommend this arcade enough! Great support from Atgames. I admit, the included games aren't great, but 100% agree about installing "ALU sauce." It's a compiled set of games specifically for this arcade. (Everything you can think of including Golden Tee! ). I have 4 kids that play it all the time and it's held up really well.

The company continues to introduce new add-ons like pinball and light guns! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
I wonder if light guns would work with Time Crisis roms?

Anyone mod the cabinet art and sticks (if needed)? What are the most modern games supported? Looks interesting!

Agree that this is worth every penny. Just finished installing BitPixel and it's a great experience.

Look at your local Sam's first because there have been units sighted for 199 and 299$ on clearance this week. It's a crazy deal.

I bought two and sold the one without pinball buttons for almost $900 with a few easy custom mods and a stool. PlayStation 1 games are being teased as addons shortly!

This happens and the units could be packed slightly better, but damage from transit isn't the manufacturer's deal to fix.
If you buy an Xbox from Target and it arrives damaged by the fedex, call Target or FedEx, not Microsoft.
I had a damaged unit (one of three) and exchanged/returned it for free with porch pickup from Sam's.

Bought one from Walmart last summer and I couldn't be happier. It has CoinOpsX and a few other emulators built right in. It's perfect for emulation - and has some fun games already built in. Someone else mentioned their friend had damage in transit. I had no shipping problems - arrived just fine! But a little tip, the cables from the AtGames board to the TV probably come loose during shipping. Before putting everything other, unplug and re-connect all connections and you should be fine.

How do these compare overall to a pandoras box or something similar? I know the controls on the Pandora and other similiar products are top notch and worth the price.
I've had 2 Pandoras Boxes. Returned them both because I thought the controls felt cheap and a lot of the games I wanted to play out of the box were in Chinese and therefore kinda unplayable for me.
This cabinet? The controls are great. Like, really good. The track ball could be better, but it's the only thing I can pick apart as not liking.

Also... Some people have been finding these at Sam's club in store on clearance at $199 lately. It's a very YMMV situation, but some people get lucky.

Also if you have a Sam's card it's same price with extra pinball buttons on sides. It's a great machine. We love it also. Got the flash drive loaded with thousands of games.

So... with the Pinball flippers, you can easily with this, stream FX3 to it and play it from your computer. You can ALSO "mod" these with a simple thumb drive and some google knowledge to add FAR more games (I believe im over 2k games) in a slicker interface (CoinOpsX). For $500 this is a GREAT steal. I never have regretted my purchase.

Grabbed plans online, woodwork, painting, designing and paying for graphics, installing a windows computer, purchasing controls and control Usb adapter, wiring up everything, installing and configuring front end software, acquiring games...it's a massive undertaking, countless hours invested. And the kids like the Legends Ultimate more.
