I have the older version, original version. Is this worth the upgrade? So far the old one does what I need and holds enough data. I don't need constant recording and anything I do need I download to my phone.
In your case, no. I wanted the 24/7 recording because my old 2k one wouldn't pick everything up. So far this one has the same motion detection problem, but at least I have recordings to scroll through.

Was trying to buy into the Eufy ecosystem but it has been a disappointment. After the wired Eufy doorbell and battery eufy doorbell, I ended up with getting a Ring Pro
What's the disappointment?

Does anyonw know the difference between this item and the E82101W3-99(https://www.bestbuy.com/site/eufy...=6404967)?

I am planning to buy the Eufy 2C Pro in the future. Will that make a difference?

I think that's the battery powered version.

Does it support rstp or onvif? Can I push the stream to an nvr or synology acting as an nvr?
No it does not

Does it not run any existing chimes? Or is there something specific to your setup that prevents it from using the chime?
None of the Eufys work with existing chimes.

Purchased this one the other week when it had showed up on SD. Just received a price match for this deal. Looking forward to getting it installed and trying it out. Really didn't want a doorbell camera that required a subscription.

Thanks, that's a deal breaker for me. You definitely saved me some trouble.

I don't think that's correct. Ive been thinking about buying the model below because it works with existing chimes; according to the videos I've watched.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Is there a monthly subscription fee like Ring door bell. Also, too bad it's at Best Buy, I stopped buying from them a decade ago because of their return policy restocking fee.

Yeah, I've seen a couple reddit posts saying the battery powered ones can be hardwired to work with the existing chime. But that one is 30 bucks more and I don't really want to mess with all that.
