Today's headliner is Archetype Axis Mundi. This new jawn hails from the dope cats who brought you Liga Privada, Drew Estate. While they're also known for uniquely non-traditional blends (such as Acid and Java), they craft some of the very finest traditional premiums you will find, as shown in spades by Liga Privada, Undercrown, Herrera Esteli and more. And the Archetype Axis Mundi is Exhibit A. Matter of fact it was rated 93 and a Top 25 Cigar of the Year. Big time!

And man is this cigar a beauty. Dark and oily, slightly reddish to the eye, it's chewy and redolent, calling out to you like a whale song. The wrapper is Ecuador Habano Maduro with Habano-seed Nicaraguan fillers. Densely packed, this slow burner offers a unique caramel-like aroma, and brings layer after layer of flavors including coffee bean, subtle spice, charcoal, nuts, dried fruit and natural sweetness. Meaty, medium to full in body with substance and complexity that keeps you coming back.

Watched a review of this cigar on YouTube. The smoker was non-impressed due to a poor pull and mediocre flavor until the last 2 inches. Most of the commenters agreed that these suffer from quality control issues, so consistency is a problem. That being said, at $2.50 a stick, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value. I placed my order. Thanks OP.

I've had these a few times. I didn't love them but they were good. There was a lot of hype surrounding these so I expected better.
A solid stick and at this price it's a great deal. Definitely a step up from your standard yard gar.

I've never had this particular cigar, but Drew Estate is my favorite cigar brand and very rarely fails to impress.

These are ok. I just smoked one on Saturday. I would not pay more than $2-3 per cigar which seems to be the usual price at cigarpage.com. I will also not be buying again. Too many better smokes for a little bit more. My favorite "bargain" cigar at cigarpage are the A.Flores deals that come up. They have a bunch on sale now:
