I haven't tried this service yet. Is it decent?
I don't like the app, it is really slow for me and gets locked up easily. But, it could be the app my tv uses? I assume they have a number of variations?

I truly don't get the moaning about there being too many streaming services. Yeah, I'd you subscribe to everything you might be able to make it more expensive than cable, but why would you subscribe to everything at once? There's no contract so just keep a rotating slot or two and switch up services every few months. Also, if you keep an eye out for prepaid deals, you can often get a year or so of a service for less the cost of one month of cable. I don't think anybody would like what would happen if Netflix had a total monopoly.
Because some birds have tiny little brain that can't process more than a simple thought.

I bought it using the link above.

Used Fake Email.

Paid with Amex Blue for $9.99

Got Amex email stating I completed the offer ($4.99).

So I paid $5 bucks for 4 months ($1.25/month)

Calendar invite for 07/08/2021 to cancel.

Video subscription services are great cuz you can cancel anytime. The way to save is by rotating your service. You subscribe to one service at a time. Finish the series or movies you want to watch, then cancel, and sub to the next service that has shows you like.

Or stick with one service and share between your friends/family. You get their disney+, they get your Peacock.

My HOA signed a deal with Comcast to provide basic cable for free but be the exclusive provider for anyone wanting more. I leave the box unplugged, but we did use Peacock for Yellowstone. I don't think I would pay $5 / mo for it, but I could see why people might. I might pay $2 (on top of the $5, so $7 total) for ad-free.

But, just remember that even the 'ad-free' tier still has ads per their T&C.

These streaming services are such a scam. With so many out there now, its actually cheaper to just get cable.
If you have Comcast cable or just xfinity internet, peacock premium is likely already included.

Possibly free if you have Xfinity Internet service. You can order the free Flex streaming device to get Peacock Premium for free. Login will also work on a Roku or other devices that have Peacock TV.

Possibly Cox too, but I don't have that service, so I can't confirm.

I heard you have to rent Comcast's cable modem instead of using your own to use "free" Flex box.

has a couple of decent exclusives , not really many mostly a back catalogue thing . but yea for 2.50 or full price 5$ its not bad.

Netflix going to be pricing itself out of existence at 18$ when most of the comp is like 5-7 atm ... can pick up 4 of them instead of it . Hulu is reg on sale for like 30$ a year every Friday too

I did it for the in-laws and they own their modem. Pretty sure they don't pay any extra modem fees. They've had services w/ Comcast/Xfinity for years. YMMV.

I just ordered the free Flex from https://www.xfinity.com/learn/flex maybe a few months back.
