I have this desk in black for almost 2 years. It's working well. Stable, Single motor.

Just curious - why the thumbs down? Stand up desks aren't cheap- not sure the mechanism they are using, however it is electric.

Compared to commercial options - this seems like a great deal.

Single Motor in this one and I'm pretty sure the Ikea ones (I have one from 5ish years ago so I don't know what the current models include) have two motors.

The AC Adapter/Power Supply for my Ikea standing desk failed after about a year but I was able to open a warranty claim and had a new one in my hand in 3-4 days. Bonus is it is kind of unclear who services the warranty on the Ikea desks - Ikea themselves, or the manufacturer of the motor/electronic components. I opened a warranty claim with both the motor manufacturer and Ikea and *both of them* responded to the warranty claim and both sent me replacement AC adapters. Other than that, as long as you don't go way over the weight limit or anything these motors shouldn't be super prone to failure - in my case a new AC adapter got my desk back up and running with no issues even though I initially suspected a motor failure because of the behavior (desk would lower but not raise). I'm tempted to get this one at this price for another office.

That bottom end looks identical to Monoproce that was on sale for 150. Looks like 80 bucks here gets you a table top and memory

It's a good deal. Recently got a flexispot on Amazon for about $290, the quick install version 48x24. So far I love it. The table top shows fingerprints quite easily but that's probably the only flaw. Slick dealers will tell you to build your own from ikea and butcher block but if you're looking for an already made stand up desk this is a good price.

Just bought a flexispot desk. It's a good deal if you need a standing desk. But my monitors shake like crazy as I'm typing which makes me dizzy. The desk has only one flimsy crossbar which makes it just unstable enough to shake the monitors. The monitors are very expensive and did not shake on a different desk.

I have a flexi spot 48x24 white, basic controller for 250. If you have a nicer controller and wider desk and $10 cheaper is a pretty good deal.
Mono price have the the motorized frame (black, and basic controller) for $150 on sale but $190 typical. So extra 90 for white color, nicer controller and a table surface( pre drilled mounting holes) is a great deal. My desk don't shake and I mounted a 43" LG on it.

I bought the 48x30 Basic version of this one (non memory buttons) for $280 back in Sep'20. I got a DOA motor initially and worked with customer support to open a claim in which they were able to get a replacement out in a a couple days. Other than that initial issue, it has been quite solid for me. I hold 2 monitors (27 inch) and laptop on it and have not experienced any shaking issues as someone else mentioned (sitting or standing).

Great deal! We picked up a pair of these to improve our pandemic work from home setup and so far they're going strong!

For those cross-shopping as I was between this and the Monoprice desks, be sure to account for the cost of a tabletop + shipping or pickup trip. For me this ended up just about the same or cheaper.

Also, make sure to check the variations of these desks on Amazon, sometimes they're cheaper or better equipped for the same cost!

The Costco one you mention has a bar across the bottom. That makes it's a non-starter for me. But if you didn't mind that, it may make the desk more stable.

This desk has so much potential and it does comfortably fit my laptop and two monitors with room for my keyboard and accessories. But, mine came with numerous broken pieces, scratched "wood" top, it seemed used. The company asked me to send back the large parts in order for them to send me replacements. I never got responses from their email or customer support. My desk works, but it is rigged to do so. Also, I have to put a piece of foam under one leg to even them out so that my desk is level.

Will this do okay with an undermount keyboard tray?
