For those who got in this deal last year - https://slickdeals.net/f/13892417-at-t-1000mbps-internet-for-40mo-with-12-month-bundle-if-you-have-at-t-ymmv, your promo price is ending now or has already ended.

I was able to call 1-800-331-0500 and spoke to Customer Service, who was able to extend the promotion for another 12-months at $49.99. I only have internet with AT&T, so don't get the discounted $39.99 that requires bundling.

As mentioned in title, it is YMMV. Personally, my promotion ended last weekend and monthly billing jumped to $70 + $10 equipment fee. So, a 60% increase.

I got the order confirmation right away which showed the discounted price valid for 12-months with no contract. My new billing had started two days back, but prorated so I pay less next month.

This includes HBO Max, so another reason to hold onto the promo pricing if possible.

Didn't work for me.. I believe you need to be in a competitive area (other ISPs) to get the offer

Very likely. We had Xfinity as the only option until 2019 when AT&T started Fiber in our area. We are able to negotiate better between the two options now. Otherwise, it would have been hard.

Yep.. unfortunately we're just stuck with ATT as we don't have any other providers in our area.

It is $49.99 with no equipment fee. If bundled with Wireless, it is $39.99.

Suddenlink has an ad in our area for $45 plus $200 debit card for 1 gig service, called the number that op posted and got my discount price extended for another year. Thanks OPApplause

I called the number and i told them i have same promotion for over 2 years now. They add me the promotion above name loyalty promotion 20 off. Very very appreciate during this crisis time.

I called, said the reason I was calling was for "Cancellation", and quickly got a chipper and helpful associate. I said I "couldn't afford" the price increase, he took a few minutes to look into promos, said he could extend the current offer for another 12 months with no price increase. I was going to call to try to get the price lowered anyways, but I was happy to see this post on Slickdeals and that there are other people that were successful on price adjustments. Thanks OP!

My $49 1gb promo expired 2 wks ago. I called in today and was told there were no promos available to me but that this was the first time she's encountered that - she'd had lots of luck reapplying that discount for others. So didn't work for me.
I'm in the Northeast IL area.
