The existing phone (a Z2 Force) has no more security update, and was disabled for mobile data. It already has all our wifi info stored. I activated on 1/27. On 1/29 it still showed full 200 MB available. On 1/30, it showed 0MB. The phone wasn't on. The usage was from RP's website.
I reached out to customer service and was told the entire 200MB was used on 1/27. I said even on 1/29 there was 200MB full unused, and my phone's usage showed only 742KB for the entire month. The CSR said he also saw 742KB used, but later came back said he misread it, it's 742MB. I said how could my line which was capped on 200MB used 742MB, when the mobile data is disabled, fully on WiFi, and there was not even any security update, just activation? Especially the other 4 lines in the household, have an earlier monthly refresh date, used less than 50MB each?
I didn't get an answer other than an escalation ticket will be sent. I also sent an inquiry to request a usage report. I got nothing, other than "this usage is correct from the network".
It's only $2.50 a month, I got that. But RP sometimes has some quirks which is not so pleasant. This auto-vanishing mobile data is just the latest event, among several other head scratching moments.

Would love to get their 3GB plan from 180 to lower value. I am currently using Mint which gives 4GB for 180+taxes (about 200) i think.
May Redpocket guys here on SD will listen and offers some plans to have some savings... 120 or lower per year will be great. I will move all my lines.
