Great option for a cheap location tracking SIM. I often have to park my car in unsafe & high crime locations. My car has been towed twice (illegally!) while it was legally parked on city streets (shady tow company!), and several car thefts are reported in these areas every month. I have an old iPhone SE that I hook to a USB battery pack and put both in the trunk under the spare tire cover. I can open Find my IPhone on my main phone and see that my car is still where I left it, or where it has gone if stolen or towed. Runs about 10 days on the external battery pack, and uses minimal data. This type of SIM is perfect.
I have this plan. Here are the add-on costs:

$10.00 - 1000 Minutes Top Up
$2.00 - 100 Minutes Top Up
$5.00 - 250 Minutes Top Up
$10.00 - International Add On Credits

$5.00 - 250 Messages Top Up
$2.00 - 100 Messages Top Up

$10.00 - 1 GB Data Top Up
$15.00 - 2 GB Data Top Up
$2.00 - 100 MB Data Top Up
$5.00 - 250 MB Data Top Up
Any phone is an emergency phone, they all dial 911.

Terms and Conditions:
Upon activation and every 30 days thereafter, until the end of your service term, you will receive 200 domestic minutes, 1,000 domestic text messages and high speed 200 MB each 30 days. You will not be able to exceed the allotted amount of voice, texts or data. If you exhaust your credits, you may purchase additional credits directly through your Red Pocket account.

I had 2 other lines with red pocket, thought I'd try this one out. Got it for some app testing on a work phone in an android device, setup was typical and easy. Popped in the sim and off I went. Made sure to set a data limit in the device of 150mb as a warning and cutoff at 175mb. Turned off all cellular data on all apps except for cellular services, etc. For the last 2 weeks or more, I've been busy so the device has been powered off sitting. Home today so I check on red pocket website and there is 0 data. What? I power on the device and it shows 352kb used of the 150mb warning I set. Chat with red pocket and they "fix" the line though I was never told what they did. I sent the cs rep screenshots to show the data use showing no data used on the device. So far this plan isn't worth the cost as even if you don't use it your data disappears.

Same price as long as they continue to offer the plan. I buy a refill on eBay when there's about 2 weeks left and apply the code provided to my account. It extends and I continue on as normal for another 360 days.

Anyone who has iPhone 12 has an issue sending MMS?
I just realized that my iPhone 12 cannot receive or send a photo message via iMessage app.
It says "Cannot Send Message MMS Messaging needs to be enabled to send this message"
However, setting->message, there is nothing to enable MMS. I only can see "enable SMS", but it doesn't help.

I just port out from Tracfone(due to screwed-up while activation) to Red Pocket Tmobile network.
Everything is OK, but just the MMS problem.

Nevermind.

At Cellular Data, I input "wholesale" at APN and "http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc" at MMSC.
Now I can receive and send a pic txt.

But how come nobody mentions that in RedPocket iPhones are not supporting visual voicemail?
iPhone SE 2 that I bought from Apple store supports all carriers, but they told me due to the internal regulations they have in place I can only use GSMT and for the voice mail I have to call my mailbox.
And that's the end of the conversation, no money back on the annual plan.

VVM is not available on GSMT, so not just iPhone.

You mentioned about WI-FI calling. Which SIM are you using? I tried GSMA and GSMT on Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a and it never worked. I called customer service several times and we tried lot of things (restarts, taking SIM out, sending updates to tower, and others).

Earlier, I had Ultra Mobile (T Mobile) and one call activated WiFi calling without any issues.
Well that sucks. I was planning on switching from CDMA to GSMT later this year to get wifi calling for both my Pixel 3a and 4a.

Last week, I did Mint Mobile's free trial and the wifi calling worked without needing to do anything on the Pixel 4a. I assumed RP's GSMT would be the same.

P.S. I also tried RP GSMA and wifi calling didn't work on Pixel

I think the OP should edit the first post to share that the unused minutes do NOT get rolled over to the next month. If I had seen that, I would have immediately passed on this thread. The reason I like Tracfone 1 year service plan is that as long as you keep the service active, you can roll over all your unused minutes from one year to the next. And since I don't use this emergency phone that much, I have a lot of minutes from other years on that phone still active.

I'm sure for some people, this is good deal, but I personally like the roll over featurer on my tracfone phone.

I'm not a stakeholder for this post, merely responding as I purchased 2 of these plans for low use lines. This is clearly written in the listing:
Remember, our add-ons do not roll over cycle to cycle so if today is the last day of the 30 day cycle for your service and you're out of texts, it may benefit you to wait one day for the new 30 day cycle to start. However if you need the additional minutes, texts or data, you can refill directly through your Red Pocket account from your mobile phone or your desktop!
