I am shopping for a right-angle drill adapter to use for my pocket hole screws in narrow places, for example, DIY bookcases. This 25% off newly released right angle drill adapter set seems a good deal. Stor pick up only, but it's in stock almost everywhere.

I think the idea from Dewalt is a combo of

+

The sum of these two utilities is $60.

This isn't the DWara50. I have the Dwara120(impact version) and it's awesome, i impact with it frequently and it's rock solid.

I think ppl are under the impression you bought this kit.
I had the DWARA50 for about a minute. It definitely wasn't a solid tool. Self destructed after only a few uses. I switched to the Milescraft Drill90PRO and have been very satisfied with it. The Drill90PLUS is currently $20 at Lowe's.

Key feature is the keyless chuck versus a magnetic hex head. I can use hex bits or standard drill bits easily. My only complaint is the addition of a chuck makes the assembly a bit longer than a hex head 90 adapter.

Huh. This looks kind of like a more modular version of their existing right angle offerings. I like it. The real determining factor is how strong the bevel/hypoid is that's inside of the head. I'd imagine that would be the first point of failure. I've had pretty decent luck with the DWARA12 so far.

Looks like a handy tool. I"ve had a few right angles in the past i kind of like the having handle idea they've added here.

I wish I knew about this when I got the fixed version for $10 less a few months back. This seems much more versatile.

I bought this awhile back to fit in a narrow area on my lawn tractor. This thing saved me at least an hour or more of time by giving me access to a stripped and rusted bolt without disassembling half my lawn tractor. I ended up using a drill set with this to drill out the head. It got plenty hot while I was doing this, but got the job done.

I realize this isn't the same Dewalt right angle attachment I had such a poor experience with. I was simply stating my experience with that Dewalt attachment and offering an alternative 90* adapter in the Milescraft Drill90 for a double sawbuck versus the OP tool for $30.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
