Wish I'd seen this deal before picking up the Eufy 11S (which I'm relatively satisfied with at the moment). Highly rated, smart-mapping robot vac (rtings [rtings.com]) that works very well on bare floors. Looks like there have been a few deals dropping it to this price or slightly lower periodically, but $200 after the coupon seems like a good option considering the functionality compared to other models at this price. Hope the deal is helpful for anyone in the market.

Vacuum experts, is this a good option for a 500sq. ft
apartment with no carpet?

I bought this last time it was this price. Works really well and I'm happy I got it. It only got stuck once and that was because I left a glove on the floor. Otherwise it does a solid job of going through the whole downstairs living area with some rugs spread throughout. It obviously can't reach small areas but I it gets a majority of everything on the floor. It's set to auto run a few times a week so I never have to touch it other than cleaning out the debris every so often.

I have this model and like it. The Mi Home app will show you a map of where it vacuumed after it completes the job. In other words, you can see what it did. It does not allow for no-go zones and things like that.

Anyone with small kids have one of these? I'm wondering if it would be worth it considering there are toys all over the floor constantly. Seems like a pain if I have to pick up toys on a schedule.

Not sure if you are talking about the same models. I have been using this exact model with mop attachment for 5 months now. Never had any luck with the map being generated in the app; although it's been mentioned as a feature by several reviews.

EDIT - Sorry for being a Jerk. I just saw an update for the vacuum, and after the update map is generating, but like you mentioned no setting no-go zones.

It's been great for us in the living room area with carpet. Although it does get stuck now and them on small items that are not taller than the bottom of side wall that it can't push around.

Even though it doesn't have a lidar, it works great! We bought it for thanksgiving sale and it works great. It works as good as the lidar models, just that it take a little longer since the mapping is internal and it creates as it cleans. No issues seen and very highly recommended. Also the mopping feature works well, mopping attachment can be purchases separately from amazon.com

I also have kids and two robot vacuums and have the same problem. I don't schedule either of my robot vacs, but only run them on demand on the days the toys have been fully picked-up. If you are trying to run a robot vac on a set schedule, then you'll also be needing to pickup toys on a set schedule as well.
