This is for the S2721D not the DS which has a better stand allowing you to rotate. I bought the S2721DS for $197.99 like 2 weeks ago.
This is for the S2721D, not the -DS in the title. Not a big difference, mainly the stand. I just bought a couple of the latter for $244.99 + 10% email coupon.

Why do you want 4k @ 27" ? It's expensive, refresh rates are almost always 60, you can't notice the difference between 2k and 4k at these screen sizes. Playing at 4k is also very expensive.
I got the model with the adjustable stand, it's excellent and will likely be on sale again in a week or two if Dell repeats their pricing from last time.
Solid price for basically a sweet spot monitor. I have the 2721DGF, and while I enjoy it, I rarely get above 75 fps running a RTX 3070, so I imagine this would be great for a majority of people.
Games I've been playing are Monster Hunter World, Valheim (I can barely get 60 on this one for some reason), Shadow of Tomb Raider.

Is the DS stand worth the extra $?

It is nice to run 144fps on Hades though
