As someone who's subscribed to different Lavazza products I can confirm that these are typically very old. So if you use for espresso, don't buy this. For regular coffee, sure.

You'd get much better quality and price at Costco for example. One decided to deactivate the S&S.

I do love specialty coffee, but you are talking apples to oranges here. You'll pay as much as two to three times the price for small batch coffee compared to mass produced stuff. It's not for everyone.

Multiple people are finding rocks in the bag along with the coffee beans!!! WTF Lavazza? I rather not risk breaking my Saeco using mass purchases from Amazon where apparently QC doesn't exist..... So far super crema was great, but I'm having my doubts now buying stale coffee and with rocks in the bag on top of this... No thanks. Costco/BJ's here I come.

Keep the roast date in mind when buying from Amazon. Plenty of reviews claiming they were sent dusty bags with stale smelling beans. If Amazon started selling beer, I wouldn't buy from them for the same reason.
