Does anyone know if the seated version is the same as the upright but without the riser. So if I buy a riser and then put this on top of it will it become an upright with a riser?

This is a great question. I'd love to know too.

I'm just not a fan of the seats that Arcade1up are producing.

You might be interested in a full cab mod though. It would be interesting if the seated version can be modded like this. The seat cab could perhaps be sold to someone with an upright cab and we can recover some money?

Not worth it. The actual ROM is free, so you're paying for the cabinet. Plus they have the ugly corner dots on the screen in this one that serve no purpose. They just look like dead pixels.

I wouldn't even try to emulate this. There was a later version of the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade that was much better. As far as I know, this one on this machine is the original from 1984.
