I've been eyeing these things for a while and worx landroid was pretty cheap at $750 last year black friday but I didn't like the cutting height was so high.
I saw this guy at home depot for $599, it's about $699 on the official redback website and $799 everywhere else for some reason.
I was thinking of ebay version of husqvarna 310 for $799 but didn't want to spend so much. This one is cheaper cause there's no bells and whistles (BT/wifi/gps etc).
I absolutely hate cutting the lawn so this will be a treat.
Pulled the trigger, there's a litlte bit of info on it but seems legit. Worse case I Return to home depot.

That is a small amount of coverage and is also likely in ideal conditions. Meaning if your lawn is a bit damp, uneven terrain, you'll get even less area done. Just pointing it out.

Nor sure if it's moose proof though: https://www.distinctlym
The yard in the video promo is way bigger than what this mower could do in a single mow. And that also looked like just the back yard. It wouldn't be able to get to the front more than likely, so unless he moves the whole unit each side, he will have to use his regular mower as well. Also requires flat terrain, so if you have a slight hill, lets say from the sidewalk to the curb like most small city people do, you also need to use your regular mower. Seems like this would leave a lot of uncut grass as well. Once it hits a pole or something it doesn't like, it goes in a random direction away from it. I don't see it ever getting everything around that pole. I could be wrong, but that video makes me think this would take hours and hours to cut a single back yard.
And the chubby guy using an old gas mower, seems to just suck at it and can't even walk straight. He wouldn't be able to figure this out either....and didn't even have to mow what little grass he had.

I also presume it will go on sale at some point for $499 which would be extremely tempting.
As far as the guidewire is concerned anyone who installs "invisible" dog fences can also install this guidewire. The guidewire can also be used for the an invisible fence. It's an added expense but it will be done correctly.
Found a review from 2019. It looks like the same model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDhqjw_
