Are you using a pizza stone or pan? Digiorno is best cooked directly on the wire rack or on a cookie rack otherwise the water won't fully evaporate in the middle.

Hi, cook the pizza directly on the rack, don't take the pizza out of the freezer until the oven is preheated. Don't cook on tinfoil, cook DIRECTLY on the rack. Follow the temp and time on the box. I would assume your mistake is cooking it on foil, or maybe even a pan. Cook Directly on the rack!!!

I had the opposite experience. I had not bought DiGiorno pizza for quite a long time, but I remember DiGiorno being pretty decent for frozen pizza.

Since then, I am not sure if DiGiorno changed their pizza across the board, based on location, or just their supply for Walgreen's, but the DiGiorno pizzas that I purchased from the last Wag's deal were not good. In fact, I still have most of them sitting in my freezer. I plan to give them all to my neighbors who have teenage boys that eat anything.

Best frozen pizza I have tasted recently is MN-based Heggie's Pizza, which is probably regional, but is sold at Costco near me for $13 for 2 pizzas. Pricier but totally worth the extra cost.

Did this last time and good heavens are DiGiorno pizzas terrible. The crust is OK but the cheese is wretched low fat mozzarella that doesn't melt so much as it dries out. The supreme is the worst of all, a pile of terrible toppings that never heats through. It's been years since I've had one; maybe they've cheapened the ingredients. But they were not worth the freezer space IMO.

Are the slickdeals shown on the front page catered to the individual? I've noticed lately that stuff I look up or discuss out loud seem to randomly show up on the front page in a deal fairly soon afterward. My parents came out to visit this weekend and my mother randomly told me how they found this Digiorno pizza they liked so we talked about Digiorno pizza for a bit and then this deal pops up on my front page the very next day? This isn't the first time I've noticed this before either. I've never searched for a Digiorno pizza online because I've never wanted one.
