So I actually own a "Replica Eames". I'm a person that values quality and was willing to shell out the money for a HM Eames chair. Just for kicks, I bought one for $550 from an eBay seller that offered free returns, just to try it out.
It was Manufactured in China, but shipped from NJ and delivered in 3 days. Setup was not quite as easy as a HM Eames would be, it took me about 90 minutes. But I have to say, I was shocked at the quality. It's damn near the exact same chair. Still buttery soft leather, molded plywood, and the same comfort as the HM model. I kept the replica and use it daily with no issues.
If you shop around and buy a quality replica, you'll forget that the HM logo is missing.
EDIT: I stated it in other comments, but I'll reiterate here: the eBay seller I purchased from no longer sells these. Please stop asking me where I purchased it from.
I'm sure other sellers have the exact same model, I doubt my eBay seller was manufacturing them by themself. My best advice would be to look at this guide and find a replica that doesn't show any of the "fake" red flags. https://www.myeamesloun
