Great price. Bought one from dwr last year. If you are looking for the classic look, you will need to purchase the black MCL leather from dwr. If you're also over 6ft tall, you need the tall version. This is the full grain leather, standard height

It's an iconic chair that is obscenely expensive for what it is. I bought mine lightly used off craigslist for 2250. I recommend shopping around first.

I still feel regret for spending that much lol.

Retail is $5500. Decent discount, but HM and DWR have 15% off semi annual sale regularly so you save a little on top of that. MCL leather is what you want

The only reason this chair is so expensive is because people are lulled into believing that it is worth that amount (It isn't).

Don't get me wrong....it's a nice chair.......I have one obtained via an estate sale. But you are buying the name more than any quantum leap in chair technology or comfort.
