1. Cap1 allows only 2 personal cards & 2 business cards (but a few have extra grandfathered in) & co-branded cards do not count
2. Cap1 pulls from ALL 3 bureaus at each time for each application (3 pulls per application & averages them out!)
3. need at least 720-740+ mininum FICO according to data points from last several years (but other factors such as too high balances or too many inquiries in past year can cause rejection).. do not know of this year's mininum
so if you are APPROVED; please list your FICO score that got approved

how many new cards you got in the past 2 years because there is rumor that Savor cards have a 5/24 rule similar to Chase (ie; must be under 5 new credit card accounts in past 24 months)
Signed up previously with the $250 offer and was instantly approved. After receiving the card and using it for a week, they restricted my card because they had to verify my income. I had to e-sign an IRS form 4506-T for them to check my 2019 tax Return. After that, it took two weeks for them to verify and remove the restriction. They seem so strict compared to other credit card companies @.@

I had a fraudulent charge a month ago...called, got an answer, problem sorted out and new card 2 day mailed fee free...all within 10 minutes
3 weeks ago, I deposited my check and got email to let me call them, had been waiting more than 1hr and he just requested my employer's phone number and then nothing resolved.
This week I tried serval times to mobile deposit a check and got errors and let me call them, I called more than 3 times, I still can not deposit a check(signed and marked "for capital one mobile deposit....)
does Capital One have a limit on how many of their own credit card that you can have?
I already have two other cards from them... just wondering if applying for a third one will be accepted?
also.... does Capital One consider Walmart and Target to be "grocery stores" for the cash back purpose? lately, I buy my groceries from those two places only.(milk, bread, eggs, cereals, vegetables, etc)
walmart stores and target don't count, but i think the "walmart neighborhood market" counts since its for groceries
Very surprising to hear, because I heard capital one is the go to bank for people looking to build credit. They used to give away credit cards for having a pulse. Something changed I guess.
Also I'd have cancelled the card instead of authorizing access to my tax return. fark em.
same. I make most of my money under the table. a tax return isn't gonna be an accurate representation of the money I make monthly or annually. I would tell them to go kick rocks too.
although I can see this getting flagged if you accidentally added a 0 at the end of what you claim to make on the application.
Have exact opposite problem, have a Quicksilver card they wont raise over $800 but just got approved for this at 15k. scores 790's
I have a QS they refuse to raise above $1250. I'm about to kick em to the curb and get one of the many 2% cards that a lot of their competitors are offering these days.
Yes it is an extremely poor return
3 hards for 200 is terrible
500 per is good
This is 100 percent incorrect. Hard inquiries are practically irrelevant if you have good credit history and the additional credit limit will outweigh the impact of it. That is as long as you keep your utilization low. Also, hard inquiries usually stay on your report for 2 years, but no respectable creditor even pays attention to them after 3 months assuming you have good credit.

You may not want to talk openly about your tax avoidance.
