1. Cap1 allows only 2 personal cards & 2 business cards (but a few have extra grandfathered in) & co-branded cards do not count
2. Cap1 pulls from ALL 3 bureaus at each time for each application (3 pulls per application & averages them out!)
3. need at least 720-740+ mininum FICO according to data points from last several years (but other factors such as too high balances or too many inquiries in past year can cause rejection).. do not know of this year's mininum
so if you are APPROVED; please list your FICO score that got approved

how many new cards you got in the past 2 years because there is rumor that Savor cards have a 5/24 rule similar to Chase (ie; must be under 5 new credit card accounts in past 24 months)
Signed up previously with the $250 offer and was instantly approved. After receiving the card and using it for a week, they restricted my card because they had to verify my income. I had to e-sign an IRS form 4506-T for them to check my 2019 tax Return. After that, it took two weeks for them to verify and remove the restriction. They seem so strict compared to other credit card companies @.@

Did this for the $250 bonus they had recently. Also you can earn $150 per referral if someone uses the referral link they give you to apply.
The referral sign up is shady. They will only let you earn the referral if the person who signed up is a completely new Capital One customer who never had any business with them before. So if that person already had a different Capital One credit card, then signed up for the SavorOne card, you will not get the $150 bonus referral.
Capitol One declined me for the VentureOne Rewards Credit Card 4 years ago. My credit score was over 800 at the time and still over 800 now. I have a Capital One GM card for more than 25 years, but have not used it for the last 10 years. I read it somewhere that not using Capital One card enough could be the reason why they declined my Venture credit card application. I like all the benefit that this card has plus I need a credit card that has no foreign transaction fee, but I'm hesitating to apply. They could decline me again may be for the same reason.
Approved, received card. Instantly restricted. Now they're demanding my signed social security card. I lost my ss card 22 years ago and have never once needed it since. But capital one NEEDS it, no alternative document can be provided. What a waste of time. Gonna be great for the credit score when they close this line immediately after opening it on me. I'll probably just go ahead and close my other cap one accounts, i have no desire to be affiliated with them in any way at this point.
Is there any downside to opening an account and then closing it afterwards just for the bonus?
Yes, the downside is that each account you open counts as a hard credit inquiry pull which shows up on your FICO credit score. Each hard credit inquiry stays on your record for 2 years. The significance diminishes over time but as a rule of thumb, try to maintain it to no more than 3 every two years.
Anybody else being ask to send in photos of the front and back of drivers license?
Applied for card, approved for the card, received card in the mail, activated card, then tried to set up online account was told my phone numbers cant be verified with security and I needed to send in copy's of my drivers license.
I was able to work out a deal with another slickdeals member here where he used my referral link to apply and I ended up getting the $150 bonus cause of that and I gave him half of that. If anyone would like to do the same, just PM me, I'm sure he'll be able to vouch for me if you want. Easy money for not doing anything but making one click.

I have like 20 inquiries this year with 700 FICO and I still got approved XD

For real? I have 2 credit cards from the last 6 months, so only 2 inquiries but I feel like I was pushing it with the second card. These cards are so tempting but I don't want to mess up the age of my credit or get denied for having too many inquiries and receive another inquiry lol
