If I find myself in a situation where I need a faster charge, which is extremely rare (that's a major point of wireless charging for me--it keeps me from ending up running on empty) I can always just do a wired charge.
Obviously needs will vary by individual, but I honestly prefer slower wireless charging speeds as a general rule.

Quick fact - wireless charging waste 40% of electricity to charge your phone. If you care about the environment or electricity usage, you may want to pass..
The whole point IMO was to be able to use either in standing mode or flat. When using in flat mode, I had the hardest time getting my phone to align. Apparently you can't just center the phone. It has to be off-center to the top or off center towards the bottom (I believe there are two coils on this thing).
You're better off getting a thinner standing-only wireless charger.

I would argue go charge as fast as you can. Get a new battery every 2-3 years assuming you keep your phone that long. I use a 87w charger for mine at my desk so it will max charge at whatever the wattage is now (and a 20w charger in the living room if needed while outside the office) and I keep it charged between 10% and 90% usually which is what I think they recommend. I never charge overnight, but I can understand why people do for the convenience.
A battery swap every two years is like getting a new phone, and at a dollar a week it's a no brained.
Of course you can get a slow charger and save yourself a dollar a week and not swap the battery.
Phones cost 1000 bucks why wouldn't you spend 100 every 2 years to refresh the battery?

$15 seems like a normal price for this

But yes, personally I wouldn't value it anywhere close to $60, and $15 only makes it an "acceptable" price for me, not necessarily slick. But I can see why it would be for others. Particularly those who don't understand the need for a certain type of power adapter (since it comes with one) and want to go with a known brand. Despite the reviews and what not. I ended up buying one for my sister in law who will place it on her bedside and never move it again. Ironically, replacing the Mophie charging puck she bought from the Verizon store at the time she bought her iPhone 11 Pro in store. I think she said she paid something like $50-$60 for the wireless charging puck... 😵 💫. And it's the most finicky POS ever, lol.
Mine is the disc shaped kind that you lay your phone flat on, not sure if that makes a difference or not.
I also bought some cheap headphone stand with built in wireless charger and didn't plan on using the charger anyway since the stand was so cheap, but I tested it briefly and it worked on that as well.
I may grab the Mophie at this price thanks
