Honestly, just buy Biokleen. It's the only product you need and I use it on a house with 3 cats. You can use it on anything, even as a laundry detergent when there is cat pee on bedding. I preach about this product to anyone with cats.

I've tried nature's miracle in the past and it does nothing for carpets.

This stuff works wonders, when I moved into my new place the old owners seemed to love to lock their dogs in their closet and one of the bedrooms and it was way worse than I realized. Tore out the carpet and scrubbed the concrete subfloor with this and baking soda then painted over all of it will kilz and smell be gone

Y'all would all save money if you just buy commercial enzyme cleaner and dilute it as necessary.

You want the spray to be 6-11% enzyme cleaner; lower as a laundry pre-treat and stain remover and higher for carpet or upholstery that has animal or human urine, vomit, blood, etc.

$20 for a gallon, 4.5/5 stars with more than 6k reviews: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonComm...B07XL3C6FR

This is factually incorrect regarding urine, especially cat urine.

Vinegar will take care of some components (eg. urea) of urine and lessen the smell temporarily, but uric acid crystals are non-soluble and so it is literally impossible for your assertion to be true. It's the fundamental reason cat spray and the marking of territory is effective.

What non-enzyme cleaners (eg. vinegar) can do is temporarily remove odor as it can remove the byproducts from the natural breakdown of uric acid crystals, but since it doesn't touch the crystals themselves, humidity continues the natural breakdown, which in turn releases odor. (Literally) rinse and repeat. Vinegar only very temporarily treats the symptom, not the cause.

Enzymes are required to break down the uric acid crystals, end of story. Folks can offer their opinions all day long, but the chemistry is the chemistry.

I was in a hurry, this alone probably would have worked given having time to apply it a few times. When you are trying to get rid of 7-8 years of urine crystals in cement and want to be 100% certain of getting the smell out you go the extra mile.

I have no experience with this product but have 5 cats and am an "Out!" fan. You can find it at Walmart and on Amazon. I like the one for hard surfaces but also just the regular "Stain & Odor Remover" version. I add it to laundry, use it on carpets, and on tile/grout. Works wonders on urine.

To COOKIELESS: I have 2 cats and no issues with urine. However, I've not been able to get rid of vomit stains on carpet. Have you used the Biokleen on vomit stains. This caught my eye in that it is supposed to work on vomit stains.

For vomit stains I have used Woolite Insta Clean Oxy or Resolve Pet Foam. With both I spray, brush/scrub the stain, then spray again to let sit before brushing again and fully cleaning up.

I got 3 of these for just over $20 plus tax, including additional savings. Also, the odor destroyer spray bottles are $3.05 regular ~$10 and also have additional savings, I got 3 of them for about $6.50 plus tax.

The one to stop marking was about the same price, but I didn't need that.

Will this work on human urine? At my wits end with elderly dad always missing the toilet.

This is a good price and the stuff works, but so does hot water and vinegar.
