Over the years, this is the only brand of smart bulb that has consistently had issues... and they were the most expensive!
I will spare you the euphemisms and get straight to saying that it is the standard socket for light bulbs (e26 or the like).

Oof. Not in stock for pickup. Only a 2-star review too.

I have one of these installed in a bedroom ceiling fan. It allows you to dim it to X% and after a quick set-up in the LIFX app, the Alexa app and Echo were able to see it and interact with no issues. I would purchase again. The only time I get the message saying it's not responding is if the fan light was turned off manually by accident. No need to touch the lightswitch or pull chain any longer.

Free shipping for elite BB members. I wouldn't rely on the 2-star review. I have a LIFX bulb with 0 issue via HomeKit. That user probably has wifi issue or too many devices on the same router. I have mesh with multi device which works all the time with HomeKit no hub.

I bought some of these back when they were 15-20 each (3-ish years ago). They're okay but your wall switch becomes useless and must always stay on. You can't turn your lights on using the switch if the app says the lights are at 0% or off. C by GE allows the switch to override the app settings and they have been on sale quite a few times in the past couple months

I concur. If you aren't into LIFX already, please consider other options.

I disagree, in the sense that lots of people here are already into LIFX and this is cheap for LIFX. I agree in the sense that I only own one and won't be buying any more. It's confirmed my dislike of WiFi lighting products in general, and I will cling to zigbee and zwave until they are completely killed off.

The description on their website shows this is equivalent to only 50watt and it is soft white, and on LIFX website it is only $10

I run LIFX bulbs and led strips all over my home currently. But I'm not sure what the particular use is for this bulb other then just being able to dim. It offers no change in warmth so you cannot do very much with it. At $5 it's a meh purchase and original MSRP was just stupid at $20.

I'll stick to their white or color bulbs that offer more flexibility even if they cost more personally.

Ya 2 years ago I bought a Lifx color on sale from Home Depot and the wi-fi was very unreliable to turn it on. Returned it and got a Philips Hue and Seng led color ones (for my SmartThings) that worked 100% of the time.
