Totally agree! I wish it were cheaper and had support for VR ala Half Life Alyx. Seems like folks like the gaming experience more than previous Gen Xbox, but for nearly $800... I only bought and shared because it's Costco and sold out at most reputable stores.

Idk if you can can label it insane. The deal gives you 2 controllers, doubles the storage and give you access to a large library of games you can download and play right away.
No there aren't "exclusives" yet. But who really wants that. There are new games that are enhanced above what the xbox one can do.

I got a new gaming laptop and the Xbox series X along with converting the 36 months of gold directly to GPU around the holidays and besides playing FPS games, I've been going to the Xbox way more due to the instant library of solid games and incredible speed/graphics/instant resume and comfort using the Xbox. If you're looking to jump into gaming like I did (after not gaming for a decade), this is a great way to get back into it as well as the Xbox being a good investment.
