Which laptop are you comparing it to and what chip is it running? Build Quality-Wise, this would be higher quality than IdeaPads and about the quality of a ThinkPad.

What are you smoking?? TUF is the worst among all ASUS gaming laptop series. Strix is good, zephyrus is good.

Not a good deal at all. There are many other laptops out there that are similar specs, better quality and for way less. I'd go with the gateway with the 6 core AMD cpu and gtx 1650 for $599 over this any day.

Plus the cooling and build quality of Gateway TongFang chasis is so much better.

I agree as I have the 1660ti variant of this model the space gap between the lid and the front frame of the opening shows there was no fastening of the panel

Depends on the type of gaming that you're doing. It's plenty for F2P type games and your typical MMO or Arena-type stuff and at 1080p you could play even most newer games at medium settings with some of the more draining effects turned off.

Of course this is from my perspective as a low-budget gamer growing up. My first "gaming" computer was a refurbished Dell business laptop with a low-mid range 8600M GT that I got an 45% overclock out of - it was the first real GPU I had in any of my computers and it was amazing to me that I was finally able to play games beyond the absolute lowest settings possible.

This is literally bottom of the barrel in terms of BQ. Plenty of reviews on Youtube. It also has one of the worst displays reviewed on a gaming laptop.

If you don't mind a refurb people seem to like the gateway creator series laptop with the RTX 2060 gpu for around $650. It's get posted here every couple of weeks sold by vipoutlet. I recently ordered one to test myself since the price is good.
