the M1 is WAY faster, but this is a awesome price to get your feet wet in the macOS/Apple ecosystem IMO

M1 is faster but this is food for normal use like, homework, browsing the web, watching movies. Small stuff

Had one of these for a job, paid something like $600 for it when it was on sale 2 years ago. For $359 it's a steal for something so small. No, it's not lightning fast, but for web browsing and general usage it's pretty decent. It'll even do video editing and photoshop fine. Unfortunately it's stuck on 128GB and 8GB of ram, only way to upgrade it is with an external drive.

M1 is nice but this mode supports eGPU and expandable ram up to 64 GB. Storage is not upgradable. Virtualization.
