That seems a few hundred too much. But if you need something now, it's a good machine.

If you need it now, look elsewhere. Ships in a month.

If we use the last few deals as an indicator the actual ship date is likely the beginning of May.

It is still the cheapest 3080 build you will find now. Given it is a $1500 GPU, you are paying $400 for the rest of the computer and premade tax.
$1500 gpu? not even AIB cards are priced that high.

That was the last time I checked, the market price seems to be about higher now with an average over $2K now, albiet those are prices for cards on hand. I'm going by eBay sold items average price.

Ahh okay. Well that way all cards are way beyond MSRP in this market.

I agree, I wanted a 3070 and had an email set for when they launch, couldn't get one online and the nearest microcenter is 2 hours away. If I knew they would sell out in less than a minute, I would have driven. I had a saved search on slickdeals for 3070/80/90 and got a 3080 prebuilt with an i9 for just less than this price a couple months ago. It was an OK deal then, but now I'm happy. The used 1070 I bought a few years ago is selling for more than I paid then lol. The market is crazy, I'm going to give my 1070 to my friend, it's better than the 1650s that are now scarce too.

I could be wrong, but this seems cheaper while having better specs than that alienware post about 2 hours ago that's not available anymore, yeah?

Haha, wow so many people are out of touch with the current reality. This is one of the best deals to come along this year. Yes, you can sell the 3080 alone for the cost of the entire computer right now and this is a great build all around, as opposed to some of the throw away builds you see with high end gpu's these days (I'm looking at you Dell..).

Better deal than the Alienware Aurora R12 since the 11th gen i7 CPUs have almost no gaming performance improvements over the 10th gen i7 CPUs according to https://www.anandtech.com/show/16...ocket-lake
