YMMV...Found in clearance section had multiple available. Normally $149 appears to be 50% off. Includes a 2ah battery and charger. 1 Gallon handheld battery powered sprayer normally goes for more than this, backpack sprayer has 4.6 out of 5 rating.

how noisy is it during operation?

thanks!
The pump is always running, but not bad.

sounds like vapor lock
i don't think that can happen. These have a pressure relief valve in the cap. I haven't had issues with mine in 2 years. As it relies mostly on gravity (the 1gal sprayer does more sucking to spray), if it has a bad output, it is likely the pump that went bad.

If the pump is always running, wouldn't it put too much pressure on the hoses and connections when not actively spraying?

I think the pump runs when the wand is depressed on the 4 gallon one. Stops then released. The one and two gallon sprayers run constantly until switched off

Picked one up at the Santa Maria HD $74. They had at least one left.

My local HD had both 4 gallon models, the new one at the $149, and the old one at $74. Make sure you look at the SKU to get the right one.

Brickseek says in stock but no prices. HD site only shows full price. Is there any way to get the price at my local stores without going there?
Call after they close. Say "inventory" after the associate message. It will ask for a number, say the internet number and it will return the quantity and price. These were gone by the end of summer last year in my area, btw. No ryobi sprayers anywhere in stock, that kind of year

These were on clearance a month or so ago, down to $99-111, then all shot back up to $149. Now it appears they're on clearance again and mostly sold out.

This is a great deal. Picked it up at retail price last fall and it's been great the few times I've used it.

Have one and love it. Use regularly for insecticide as well as selective week killer. Only issue has been that battery no longer clips in securely, have had it for years at this point, and would purchase again if it broke.

Was able to score one for $74 in the twin cities area. Store said limited quantity with no price, just clearance. Thanks! It was up top mixed in with the newer models. Easy to spot though since the colors are different.

Had to take off the handle and suck the hose to get it to start flowing. Either some factory gunk or vapor lock as others have mentioned. Afterwards it worked like a charm.

Got one at the Austin, TX HD! They mistakenly shelved both the new and old model on the same shelf. A manager had to help me find the old model behind all the new models.

Tried it out with water and a 4a battery, worked really well. Might have to go back and get another for Round Up.
