Good price for a Ryzen 5 with Nvidia 3070 desktop.

Steps to get that deal:
  • Click on link - Base price is $729.99
  • Upgrade to NVidia 3070 ($480)
  • Apply coupon code: 5GAMER2021 to get 5% off --> $1,149.49
  • Log into your student account (@edu.com) to get some additional off
Total should come out to $1,110.07 with free shipping.
Only downside is that it takes about 1 month to arrive. My shipping date is 4/16.

You have to sign up on the student discount site.

https://store.hp.com/us/en/cv/hp-education

Once you've verified the EDU email, the discount will add to your cart automatically.
Note, if you created an account with your EDU email during checkout on the normal store, it will not add the discount. Also, if you then go and try to sign up for the EDU store, it will tell you the account is already registered and wouldn't allow me to add it since the "sign in with existing" option would bug out and fill my screen with garbage errors... I was finally able to fix it by changing my EDU email on the first account to something else. Then it allowed me to create a new account on the Educational Discount Store using my EDU mail.

I wasted hours figuring this one out. I guess the OP didn't link to the EDU store because, for whatever reason, the system options cannot be configured on the EDU side. So make sure you configure and add to cart in incognito mode before you login.

Be careful: HP has a 15% restocking fee and will not cancel your order unless you BEG them to, and even then it has to go through a special decision-maker in manufacturing.

Definitely not on the up-and-up relative to other brands.
Careful dating girls with kids.
It's a hot deal because the current cost of a RTX 3070 is between $900 and 1,300 dollars. Simple as that. They could put a Pentium in this and it would still be a deal.

$1,210 but you can get it for $1,110 if you have some kind of employee purchase arrangement through your work.

Yes, it's a crap configuration but it's 'dirt cheap' way to get your hands on a RTX 3070. Only a 500W PSU too but guessing that might not matter so much for this deal...

Coupon Code: 5GAMER2021 for 5% off.

Thing is cheap enough that you can actually upgrade the CPU, RAM, and storage to end up with a usable gaming computer and still end up with a good deal (upgrade the RAM yourself but can get it with a Ryzen 7 for under $1,400 with EPP).

Where does it say it's 3070 FE? That'd be huge as they're normally HP.

Edit: OP updated the post. This is not FE.

Pretty decent deal but definitely not a 3070 FE. (It's a custom design if that matters to you).

Considering a 3070 is almost 1k alone at current market price, this is actually a good deal if you dont care about a oem 3070.

I read this morning on Reddit that these are unbranded EVGA cards if that matters for anyone.
