Just be careful, I got screwed with the Google Pay 20% cash back on REI. I had two items in the cart and they were charged separately at checkout... And, of course, the lowest priced item ended up getting the 20% off since it was charged first... So instead of getting 20% off my entire checkout, I only got it off the smallest item
Google pay has extra 20% cash back up to $50 (250 in single payment) on rei website or in store.
You should probably choose either to get smashed or check out any slickdeals, but never both..

Shoot, doesn't qualify for the additional 20% off going on right now with MEMBER21 coupon code.
Yea, sale items don't work with the 20% off coupon, that's the way REI manages what the 20% can be used on.
Many times things on sale will already be 20% off anyway, but sometimes they'll discount something like 5% which then makes it not eligible for the 20%.
Sure, it's tricky, but REI, probably per being a co-op, is a great store to buy from, and people abuse their policies a lot, so I let this type of thing slide knowing it helps their business model to keep them in business.
Amazing jacket. I've worn it for a couple winters. Very warm and lightweight. Zippers aren't the best but if you're careful zipping you shouldn't have any issues. I bought it for about $175 and thought it was worth that price. One nice thing about this down jacket is that's it waterproof.
Yeah, I returned mine because of the zippers. Was surprised that they were so rigid /finickey.
Wow, that's a uniquely unflattering design. Even the fit models are challenged by this beer gut-creating garment. Still, seems like a good deal... if you can stomach the stomach-enlarging design.

Same thing happen to me. I contacted Google Pay to get some help and noted their requirements did not address this scenario and they basically didn't care
Google pay terms and conditions for the offer state "You do not have to use Google Pay to pay."
I don't understand what you are saying. He said that you can't use Google Pay on REI's website, only at their physical store. This is what seems to be the case from what I can tell, even though others are talking about using it on the website. Do you know something I don't? How do I use Google Pay on REI's website? I don't see the option anywhere.

Go into the Google Pay app, view Offers, tap on the REI offer, enroll a credit card if necessary, tap activate button, tap Use Online button, add item to your cart and pay with the credit card enrolled for the offer, done.
I tried this on last winter but couldn't get past the design. Ended up going with the Rab Valiance. Basically the same thing but better design and nicer quality.
My main issue with goose down is laundry. After wash & drying cycle, the fill tends to clump together unlike synthetic fill.
This is DWR treated down. The down become hydrophic. It does not absorb moisture (or at least not nearly as much as untreated down) and can even retain heat when wet (more than untreated down).

Same here.... ordered two of these jackets which REI listed in a single invoice.
For some reason, my AMEX statement shows two different transactions, and GPay gave me a $24.77 reward instead of $49.54.
It's still a good price, so I'm not too worried about it, but that feels a bit like a bait and switch.

Same happened to me too. So, best use this offer just for a single item, ideally ~$250. If you have more items, you'll get screwed.

Put a couple of clean tennis balls in the dryer along with the jacket.
