Didn't these retail for $599 for years? I remember wanting to buy it 3-4 years ago for this price, but bought the higher model one.

Amazon has the same price also.

These have been more expensive lately. Supply and demand maybe?

Heard these go on sale even cheaper, have a $100 Amazon gift card that could lower the price ever more for me. Should I hold out for cheaper or pick this up now?

Almost certainly due to increased demand from the pandemic with so many folks working from home. I was looking to upgrade my coffee maker earlier this year to another high end model (Breville Precision Brewer, Moccamaster, etc.) and was looking up deals & price trends here and on CCC, and there's been a very dramatic shift since when quarantine started.

I have been waiting to get one of these. Considering the pandemic, do we expect price to go any lower? Or should I just get it now?

Not bad if you can apply 20% coupon to make it $480

Has anyone had luck with this? I tried chatting with customer support and they said this product is excluded with coupons

I saw it at $480 at Williams Sonoma before Christmas, but I was overseas and I couldn't access their website. Otherwise this is the cheapest I have seen it in the last year. And the Bed,Bath&Beyond coupons don't work.

How does this rate against the SeattleCoffeeGear deal?
SCG has it at the same price with free extended 1yr warranty + $50 gift card

SeattleCoffeeGrear seems better. And you can also apply coupon UNLIMITED10 for an extra $60 off. With taxes for me it ended up being $565.

I am a little cautious ordering from SCG looking at recent reddit reports of shipping delays and things like that. Also, the extra 1year warranty can be obtained by placing an order via the costco citi/amex/amazon prime visa etc cards. Amazon has same day delivery.

$565 with tax seems like a good deal. My state has higher sales tax, so it's $595 for me after the 10% off.
