For a metal base, cross braces at each corner are a warning sign. It means that none of the angles in the metal base are pre-welded, to save on packaging and shipping costs. The entire metal structure is held together with just screws. That in turn means that it will get wobbly over time.

Coupon code also works for the 47" desk as well. $18 coupon reduces the price of the 47" desk to $42 before tax.

I have the L shaped desk. It's solid and makes 0 noise at all. I would definitely buy again.

Thanks OP!

Nabbed the 47-inch model, and code was also valid - ended up being $41 which is a great value.
