I got the Cyberpunk version of this back in November. Turns out it was one of the best ways to play that game. With the recent hardware shortages, this is a great stop gap solution. Stadia won't die before you can finish this game on it (ofc given you actually play it). When/if it does the Chromecast is still a competent streaming device.

All in all I'm very glad I got it and didn't listen to all the naysayers.

People like to shit on Stadia, but if you have a good connection it's pretty good. Playing Cyberpunk on it was a better experience than those who played it on Xbox One or PS4.

Unfortunately it says it ships after the game launches, as was the case with the Cyberpunk promo. They really should at least ship it slightly before the game launches though with Cyberpunk considering its state at launch not being able to play it immediately wasn't necessarily a bad thing. All that said I believe they also don't charge you until launch as well.

I have a RTX3070 Gaming rig and I play Cyberpunk on my Cyberpunk Stadia Bundle more than I do on my actual PC. I also wasn't sure on how well the service would run but I took a chance with the Cyberpunk bundle and don't regret it.

I almost bought in but then I did the bandwidth math and unfortunately I think I'd kill my monthly 1tb Comcast cap with all my other uses of it there's really no room for it.

Used my Stadia for a month or so and gave up on it, you really need a SUPER fast internet connection if you don't want Lag.

Stadia has its ups and in a way it's more friendly to the people who i.e. are used to consoles bc of the simplified and neutered settings etc - if you like to know what it's like to throw most settings into ultra that your pc might crumble under then Geforce Now is the better play IMHO. Gfx quality wise there is no comparison from what I've seen, but Stadia seems to do a better job optimizing quality on the fly to maintain speed.

To each their own. GFN is missing some big titles - most notably Rockstar and EA, some upside to Stadia there. I still prefer it though, with the recent addition of GOG, after Epic and Steam I hope more will follow soon. I hate the idea of having to re buy games I already own - biggest reason why I can't stick with Stadia.
