It's great. Mostly puzzles with a dash of action. Mostly 2-D except for part 3. Gorgeous graphics. Variable difficulty. Local and online co-op (that works) Trine 4 has up to 4 players

Good if you have someone to play co-op with. It's a mix of puzzle and action. Helps to move the game along when a puzzle is best solved with multiple characters.

Trine 4 is worth it, we beat it... I didn't really care that much for the first 3, the controls are different.
But $7.50 more for all 3, may be worth it, even if you don't play them all the way thru

Repeat sale. Don't feel you have to jump on this as it is this price every other week.

Trine 2 is absolutely amazing. Haven't played 1 or 3 yet. Played 4 for about 15 minutes (demo). It's cool, may get it myself.

Trine 4 is a great game. My daughters loved local co-op and found the puzzles to be fun with very few they couldn't figure out the right or wrong way past. Considered the collection but unsure about 1-3. Xbox price for collection was much higher than for Switch.

Thanks! In for Trine 4. I haven't touched this series since the first one came out on PC ages ago. I've been trying to get my 4 y/o into co-ops. We've dabbled a little with Phrogs, Unravel 2, and Luigi's Mansion.

I've only played the first one. But if it's the same. It's a side-scrolling, puzzle solving game. You get 3 (?) characters, each with their own ability. And you utilize their abilities to solve puzzles. Different puzzles require different ability combination and/or order. You don't need co-op. You can play 1 player and rotate the characters.
