About this product:
Sprouts gift cards never expire. After 12 months of inactivity, as of the date of purchase, a service fee may be charged against any remaining balance, except where prohibited by law.
If only their weekly ads would go back to pre-COVID days and actually offer deals. Haven't been to Sprouts in a long time since they stopped offering "loss-leader" types of sales.
While Sprouts may source some items locally, they're not a farmers market. Their produce and meat quality is just ok. The "quality" you mention isn't on the Whole Foods level, so pardon if I get pissy for paying Whole Foods prices.
And it's hard to use the pandemic as an excuse when your competitors still have similar prices pre-covid.
Totally agree, I still have left over funds from $200 in GC's bought in November. The prices are almost at Whole Foods levels now. Plus, everytime I checkout, there's 5 people in front of me. They aren't staffing the store like they used to.

Kind of a weird time for them. They usually do it late in the year and they already did it right? I think I have one or two left but kind of makes me wonder why they are doing it again so soon.

I like their $5 sushi on Wednesday's, but where I live there's a Trader Joe's and Lidl both within half a mile of Sprouts so I've found myself going to Sprouts a lot less unless they have something specific on sale that I need.
@livninSC, it is odd that it's back so soon. Good deal though. I used two the last deal in two trips. Limited options here and we like the Bimbo sourdough bread (seriously, lol).
Sprout is expensive. But their sale stuff is comparable to other stores so keep an eye out for their weekly sales. I usually shop only for their sale items and this is when I use their gift cards.
Don't forget Discover 5% cash back on grocery this quarter.
Sprouts is a shadow of its former self. All the good seafood and chicken deals are gone. Haven't seen $1.69-$1.99 boneless chicken in over a year.
Truly lowest-priced produce is rarely to be seen.
We bought $300 last time since it's easy enough to spend even on competitively-priced items but I've been there probably 70% less than last year to be sure.

It's highly doubtful
Agreed....Sprouts have bumped up prices since the pandemic started
