You can actually change the color. Mine came with Alienware control software installed. The LED can change to a wide variety of colors and pulsating or solid patterns, etc. Pretty cool.

It can be either blue or red.

I know nobody has a time machine but there would/should probably be a better deal between now and September for a gaming desktop in this range, correct? My son wants a gaming desktop but his bday isn't till the end of September. I'm fine with getting him this one now but the wife wants to wait to get him something this expensive I if it isn't a bday or Xmas gift.
GPU is going to be the tough part. Normally I'd say wait but prices on video cards are ridiculous and may get worse. Just look how much the video card and CPU are individually.

Anyone with a link for a good 8gb ram stick to add for dual channel or a good 1TB drive to add? I assume any 1TB 3.5" would work well.

Here's a silly question for the those who got in the last time: Is the stripe on the case actually blue, or red?

This picture and several others have blue, but others have shown red. I would care, but my lovely daughter does... Smilie

I kind of wanted to wait for the actual system requirements for D4 to hit before I invest in a desktop. Do you think if I pulled the trigger on this now it would work? This is their predicted minimum requirements:

CPU: Intel Core i5-9500 3.0GHz / AMD Ryzen 5 2500X 3.6GHz
RAM: 8 GB
HDD: 60 GB of storage space
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB or
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
DirectX: Version 11
Screen Resolution: 1080p
Network: Broadband Internet Connection

I second this question. I'm looking for my gaming fiancé and his aging computer.

I'm thinking of taking the card out of this to out in my better PC. How much do you guys think this would flip for? I know the F series doesn't have integrated graphics, so I'm wondering if that would be a big deal.

pretty sure the power supply on this isn't large enough for a 1070. A recommended power supply for a 1070 is 500w and this has a 360w. And these have crappy proprietary slots so you can't just buy a random power supply and put it inside
PSU calculator have my use case power draw at 356W.

I think 300 max is what you can hope for maybe a few bucks more or less

Does this have standard components that I can upgrade in the future? e.g. CPU, GPU, etc.

TIA

It's translucent white with RGB LED lighting, that's why you've seen it different colors.

Finally got in on one of these. The GPU and Amex deal make it worth it. Although estimated delivery 4/19.
do you get charged right away or is it gonna wait until it ships/delivers? I'm just a big concerned about if it doesn't bill right away and amex deal might expire by then
