Anyone knows if it supports 5 series CPU out of the Box or need firmware update. Haven't built a computer over 20 years so don't have a 3 series CPU lying around firmware update

I've used two of these now and they work great. Only thing is be warned about the ASROCK Polychrome Sync RGB software. Couldn't get it to work at all and this is a widespread issue.

Looks a little diff has vga and dvi ports as well not sure if that's better or worse.

Careful I bought one of the b450m couple months ago which was upgrading a b350. Nvme SSD speed went from 3000MB/s to about 700MB/s. Their support team are idiots and blame it on the SSD. Even though I explain over and over that it was fine with the b350 they don't seem to care or understand.

Last time I buy asrock.
