Actually this is a very good shield. It is excellent for wood working and other activities in which you want to prevent debris and splashes from reaching your face. With adjustments for proximity to your face, how tightly it fits around your head, and a joint to flip up over your head and back down over your face again without taking it off, it is much better than disposable shields. You can easily clean it and the part that makes contact with your forehead (you cannot see this part in the photo) has a soft cushion. $20.61 is a good price - in the past year it sold for $28-35 from Amazon and about $55 and higher on Ebay.

In case y'all are wondering, this is what this type of face shields are used for. Skip to 1:37 if you wanna get right to the part where the face shield in action.

If you look at "available for less from other sellers" you can get for less than $20 as standard price, with prime free shippig.

Would this protect from a shattered cutting disk, as from a grinder? I'm currently using my welding helmet with the auto-darken turned off, but the FOV is terrible.
Description says must be worn with safety glasses or goggles. Kinda sus on how much it actually protects.

LOL or you can buy this with a drill chuck?! WTH?!
Because a lot of buyers traditionally had bought them to use to protect their eyes/faces from debris when using high speed rotary tools... In the last year I'm guessing that use case has changed.

I would guess this is just a legal disclaimer, but you should do your own research and don't let a stranger on the internet be the last word when trying to protect your neck, fellow kid.

I wouldn't trust it. The plexi on this is pretty flexible and I've seen a lot of these that the plexi starts cracking at the edges prematurely.
