Picked these up without the sub last week. These sound very good for the price, must be even better with the sub.

Just waiting for an S 8 ATM to go on sale so I can complete the setup.

So unless I'm missing something, this deal is the same as the $529 deal except the bookshelf speakers are upgraded and it's $30 less?

This is a great deal for including the sub and a much better deal than the previous one for $529. The weakest part of the package is the sub IMO. If you can still get the $399 package without the sub and instead get the Costco Klipsch 12" sub for $150, it would be a better deal for only 50 bucks more. BTY, Andrew Robinson has reviewed these Jamos in several videos and is a huge fan. He thinks these are probably the best deal around for 2020 budget speakers even at full price.

Yes, the $529 has low tiered bookshelf speakers, but the trade off is that you get a better performing sub. The $499 deal has the upgraded bookshelf but the lower performing sub. I'm still not sold on the Jamo subs. I think you can get a better performing sub with a 12" driver from either Klipsch, BIC or Dayton for about the same price or slightly higher than the Jamo. I ended up getting the $399 deal (top tier studio series speakers) with the 12" 300 watt Klipsch sub at Costco for $150.

Cheaper than the other post with upgraded bookshelf, really surprised this hasn't gotten more traction. The sub isn't as good (150 W speaker compared to 300 W in the other bundle) but I imagine you'll get plenty of low-end from all the other speakers. Got me tempted.
