I own plenty of Apple stuff, and I am usually a bit biased towards Apple product...but how come a $250 keyboard is considered a deal these days? What is it so amazing about these keyboards that people are paying so much for it?

That's the question. I haven't read any rumors that the new 12.9 iPad Pro will change form factor; but when accessories like this go on sale it's usually to make room for something new.

This, like the AirPods max and the original HomePod, is another product I absolutely think Apple priced way too high.

It's been this price for several weeks since the first time this deal was posted for Amazon. Everyone seems to match it too like Best Buy and Costco abs bhphoto

I will add that I think this is still going to work with the new models coming out if some of the cases that have started to show up on the internet are any indication. Unless they stupidly change the external connector.

this is a valid comment and people are quick to dislike because it involves the slightest criticism of Apple, smh. I was able to get my iPad Pro due to a really good deal so I am interested in accessory upgrades that boosts the usability. With that said, this is an accessory that I would consider getting if the price was right. I already have a very good backlit Bluetooth keyboard that I only paid $20 for. It's kind of hard to jump in and nearly pay the same price as a new console for a tool that will not drastically increase productivity on the go.

I mean for heaven sake, my Keychrone K2 Bluetooth with red switches cost a little less than $100 (same keyboard that MKBHD uses).

Apple stuff on discount does not mean they are replacing it. Plenty of their stuff eventually starts seeing frequent deep discounts without being replaced. AirPods Pro are not expected to be replaced anytime soon (rumors say 2022 for Pro, and that only the basic AirPods are about to get updated), but they've dropped to $190 every couple weeks for over 5 months now.

Also, the leaked cases show that at the very least, iPad 11 for factor will be the same this year after the update.

Try one, you'll understand. If you use an iPad Pro at all, it takes it to an entirely new level.

Ugh... I just want a keyboard and trackpad combo that works just as nice. I have the Mac magic keyboard and Magic Trackpad 2 which are a bit better experience at the desk because they're larger, but for couch surfing I wish there was something like twelvesouth's bridge accessory with a tablet slot. Wish I had a 3D printer to experiment with. Very tempting at this price though to grab it and be done with it.

The fact that this retails for $350 is absolutely insane. And I don't care how any of you who have one try to justify it. That's actually too much money for what this is.
