It had been this price on and off since shortly after release. Soon enough the Gold Edition will be this price, like all past AC games. The more people that wait, the quicker that will likely happen.

The digital version sometimes goes on sale for $30 as well for those of you with digital consoles. When the price of the digital games are low, I tend to buy them so I can use quick resume on Xbox. It's a literal game changer.
