This is a good deal. Also, if you have any 18v ryobi batteries laying around, their power inflator works well for dusting too. Direct tools has refurb for $15 or factory blemished for $30...but with $7 shipping

For anyone wondering if these are any good -
I have one of these. It's not as strong as a full "can of air", but it does the job and doesn't get painfully cold. I love it because it's so much less wasteful and will pay for itself over time. Being rechargeable is a definite plus.

Unless it's a datavac. They are static shielded.

It's more economical if you are already bought into the ryobi system and have batteries and charger. I have been keeping my eye on it for a bit now hoping that the Direct Tool 20% off days start applying to the blemished models.

The ryobi can inflate sports balls, inflatables, run a brad nailer/stapler, inflate a tire, etc etc in addition to just blowing out dust. **I will say inflating a tire(s) from flat with this little guy ould be an exercise in patience though lol**

I am going to buy it to replace my old smaller plug in compressor, I still have the 36gallon for the big jobs and a 50ft hose to air up tires in the driveway etc without having to wheel it around.

Can anyone chime in a comparison this vs datavac? Have a datavac right now which is great, but wouldn't mind switching to this for the convenience if it's got comparable blowing power (for lack of a better term).
I didn't know this product existed but since I work in IT I'm a bit worried/skeptical. With some research I may stick with the datavac brand as they advertise ESD safe and also has filters. I wouldn't want dust/tiny rocks flying into my electronics or camera lens at 113 mph without filters and risk surging my PC parts.

Would work great for everything else that isnt sensitive to scratching or surging. Just not comfortable enough on my product with this purchase.

I bought a Datavac years ago from TigerDirect when they used to run those $25 off $100 deals. It's very reliable and works great. It does have a cord but it's the perfect length and not an issue when you use a velcro strap for storage.

When my PC accumulates enough dust, I simply take it out to my yard, open the case, and use a leaf blower to blow everything out. Learned this when I worked in a PC shop years back and it is a lifetime saving!

This is the older model that doesn't have a second speed.

https://www.amazon.com/OPOLAR-Cor...08CVH5XLT/

Newer one has a 60k speed, and can also work as a vacuum.

But yeah, 99.99 is way overpriced...

I brought this exact one last time. Woefully under powered. The only reason to get this if you don't have a power jack to plug into. Otherwise get a corded datavac. You won't regret it.

This cordless one is worth about 20 bucks.

Except that those are not very portable...but yes...more bang for your buck
Also, pancake air compressors tend to have a certain moisture in them and not very good for electronics

This brand seems to get promoted unusually often.

I am surprised this is so popular, and has seemingly been so before. Seems a lot of low rep promoters...

What are you guys using this for? Cleaning out electronics? are you doing this so often that it warrants a $50 rechargeable no name blower?
I use it for many things. Dusting inside of PC case. Keyboard. Car crevices. Also use it to dry picture prints faster. And I'm sure a lot more!
