This is a good deal. Also, if you have any 18v ryobi batteries laying around, their power inflator works well for dusting too. Direct tools has refurb for $15 or factory blemished for $30...but with $7 shipping

For anyone wondering if these are any good -
I have one of these. It's not as strong as a full "can of air", but it does the job and doesn't get painfully cold. I love it because it's so much less wasteful and will pay for itself over time. Being rechargeable is a definite plus.

Unless it's a datavac. They are static shielded.

Apologies in advance for the ignorance, but other than dusting keyboards what else do you guys use this for?
Any nooks and crannies. Tight holes.

in all seriousness will grab this for my pc rigs and game console fans. Can use this for some kitchen appliances and small crevices inside the car.

Looks like this sale has been active for a few weeks. One review I found said...

Have had this for 2 years, still works great. Much more convenient and cost efficient long term compared to canned air.
However, I would say that it is slightly less powerful than compressed air, but not by much, it still gets 90% of the job done, compressed air is still better at getting the really tricky areas which have dust; i.e the fin stack on a heatsink, but this still does a great job.

Airvac or Datavac are the recommended ones for electronics and computers. Never on sale though.
Get the Xpress vac if you cant shell out for datavac price.
Can you link to try Xpress Vac? I can't find anything with that name.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank xmenxmenxmen

I have this and no longer use can air.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082XR3987/

This one is also good, but the above one had more air volume.

Either one beats can air or this portable one.

Also, pancake air compressors tend to have a certain moisture in them and not very good for electronics
Ok if you're worried about the mositure you know they make inline moisture filters right?

oh, guess home depot has them for $30 too

If you are in the Ryobi system, the P738 does an excellent job of blowing, especially using the narrow tip. Man Caver Tools [youtube.com] uses it a lot in his videos cleaning up his worksite.

Nicad or lithium ion battery?

That's a substantial difference

Dumb question, but would something like this work (without putting any abrasive media in it, of course)? Only $20 and looks very portable:

Or this $20 cordless inflator/deflater?: https://www.harborfreight.com/20v...57166.html

Maybe I'm just insane, but I use the Dewalt jobsite blower (basically a mini leaf blower) to blow out my PCs and it works great.

For things that I need pure air to ensure there is no dust (installing mobile display screens), nothing will replace canned air that is 100% pure air only.
