These aren't great - noticeably less charge than name brands. My smoke detectors always chirp low battery faster with these than Duracells or Energizers. Get what you pay for I guess.
I don't know why everyone is complaining. Sure batteries have been cheaper. But not in like the last 8 months. If you bought a stockpile in 2018 than good for you. But if you need a deal now than this is a pretty good deal.
I just bought these last week at full price. I use these in non important electronics. Batteries are crazy expensive of course. I use these in my child's toys bc who cares if they die or don't last. My child's attention is short, so if she uses it for one day and the next time she uses it is in 3 months it's a win for me.
I also got it price match adjusted refund on the ones I purchased last week. Thanks op

It's really not a great deal as these are iffy batteries. That's a common price for Rayovacs, which are noticeably better (and made in USA). Note that a lot of stores in the midwest (Menards, Meijer, Jewel-Osco/Albertsons, etc) sell rebadged Rayovacs too under their own label, so your stores might too.
I know a lot of people have been jumping on the Rayovacs for years but the Rayovacs I have never had good luck with. I have had 2 packages from Lowes and one which was like 2 year old batteries and when I contacted Rayovac they were great and I had sent back the batteries and they sent me a fresh batch but Rayovacs I would say have 1/2-3/4 the life of the Amazon branded batteries.
The lifespan is so-so and I've had multiple leak into my kid's toys. I don't dare put them into anything important or any of my gaming stuff or if I do I take them out as soon as I'm done. Quality is hit-or-miss, but when the deal is good you have em when you need em.

These were always on sale for around $6, but over the last year, they've doubled the 'sale' price

How do you do that? I'm not seeing the option

They do near as good as duracell without the leaking.
