With the insanity that is gripping the GPU market this is a good deal. It's similar to all of the deals that were being posted around Black Friday with the Ryzen 3700X and RX 5700 XT, the performance of this system is similar to those and the price is the same, $1000. If you need a gaming PC this is the best you can hope for right now

For your use case, you can not go wrong with either deal. With Costco you get extra storage and extra year of warranty. Otherwise, 2060 Super would definitely be the winner for games. I personally would pick the Dell SE 2060 Super as I would value that over the 512gb and warranty.

Pretty good deal considering building something comparable would be $1000+. Sure the components may not be the very best, but you could always move everything in the future to a different platform.

ah, that was for a completely different system (gtx 1050 super gpu, lower processor, less ram, less ssd/hdd, etc), though that's still a good deal on it's own

This isn't as bad a deal as people are probably going to think. The 2060 super is pretty close to a base 3060. If you are not looking to make big upgrades this is pretty close to build price. I just don't like the future options with these somewhat locked down systems.

Not to bad, it does have an i7 so thats something. Ill think Ill hold my breath on another G5 with a 5700xt. You can spec one of those out right now for a little less, but they do have an i3 in them at that price.

I missed out on the deal last week with the i5 and 1650 super for $585 dollars. It was in my cart and then the deal expired and couldn't check out. I saw this deal today though, and it's actually a coupon for 659.99 off. I spent more than I wanted to at 990 and would rather just build my own at that price but like earlier comments it would be hard to source these specs for this price on a build currently. I mean you can sell this rtx 2060 for 600 to 800 on ebay alone 🤦 ♂️.. craziness. Anyways I'm stoked and finally will have a new computer to start tinkering more with my oculus quest 2 that started this whole new computer thing in the first place.

This also qualifies for the $100 off using Dell financing offer if you have an account. I think you may be able to split it and use both offers but I'm not 100% because I don't have AmEx card/ offer.

just because it's listed at $800 doesn't mean it's going to sell - looking at completed/sold listings for Dell 2060 super cards, they're going for around $500 on average [ebay.com]
Very true, so is the dell 2060 super less capable than say another brand like asus. I guess I would just assume they are all equal if they have the same specs. I built my son a pc last year and was easier when it wasn't such a crazy market out there right now.

Not sure if it's worth $200 more than the same system with base 2060 that has been coming up recently, but deals seem to be getting worse not better, hhhmmm.
