Idea with both is to let water bead up and fall off the car, taking with it any dirt and such from the rain rather than sitting on the paint and eating thru it (acid rain).
Both are sacrificial - wears over time.
...
How long they last depends on your environment and car paint.
..
As for glossiness, which is totally separate from water beading, I still personally prefer Meguiars Gold Class liquid applied with a rotary buffer, hand buffed with a microfibre cloth.
For an average shine, this spray is fine on newer cars where the paint hasn't worn dull.
I'll take free. "Ceramic" or not, beats nothing. Thanks OP.
How is it shill silicone spray? That stuff is awesome.

What exactly is this? I mean, what's a "detailer", as opposed to soap, wax, bug & tar remover, etc.?
In any case, I might get it just to reach the $100 threshold at Advance Auto to get $12 cashback for use on an additional $50 purchase. I need to buy a bunch of things that come just short of these totals so this helps out.
Btw, does anyone know if that $12 can be combined with either their 25% off codes or $5 Perks rewards?

Probably silicon based vs wax based "wax".

Thanks. This might be useful on several older cars we have, one of which I'm hoping to sell soon but it's in a condition where top-quality waxes and detailers would be wasted. It's actually black. Does that make this less or more helpful if I'm looking to get a decent but not great shine?
I did one like this before and you can't have it as pending pickup on the screenshot. You'll get denied and find out a few months later and then you're out of money because they won't honor it anymore.

I ordered Mats also from this, so total was above $35 so free shipping. But dunno how good the mats are and I heard some mats can be like harmful and like hinder accelerator/brake/etc. and can cause injuries.

They can stick to their shill silicone spray for windshields.
Also, this is using ceramic as a stretch.
